Psalms 91:11 For He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.
Luke 4:10 For it is written: He will command His angels concerning you to guard you carefully.
Without Gods’ grace, and the love and support of my husband, children, all my family and friends, their prayers and encouragement, I would not be as far as I am today. I would like for children, young adults, and adults to know that when tribulations (health and sickness problems) come in life, it may be a test of your faith in God.
On March 18, 2004 I faced surgery for a a colloid cyst located within the third ventricle of my brain. A colloid cyst is a benign tumor that causes a blockage of the cerebrospinal fluid (CFS), leading to increased intracranial pressure and potential death.
Prior to my surgery, I was speaking to a woman by phone. I told her that I needed cranial surgery and that I now needed a cane to walk. I was also afraid. Holly said, “You will be alright either way, won’t you, Yvonne?” I said, “Yes.” She felt that my faith was strong, and with her words of wisdom I was not afraid. I knew the tumor would be removed and that I was in God’s hands. I had some excellent doctors, and at the rehabilitation center some skillful staff oversaw my physical, occupational, and speech therapy. With God’s help I knew I would be able to walk, talk, and do simple things in life again.
I stayed out of school for one year and then went back in 2005. I have been in school since 1998 and I will not give up. If you give up, you’re defeated. My father always said “Nothing defeats a failure but a try.”
I still struggle in some areas—crying and inner tremors on my left side. However, you can’t tell by looking at me that I have problem. But I know what I go through and that it could be much worse. I have so much compassion for people. Please visit a rehabilitation center or nursing home and you will find that your problems are not that bad!
I hope my testimony will help someone else be strong. Always try and never, give up. With God on your side, “All things are possible.”
There are Angels watching over you!

WOW……this testimony is so awesome I am actually at a loss for words! When you stated:
With God on your side, “All things are possible.”
I was almost brought to tears! With all you have been through I feel almost guilty at the times I complain and whine about the situations in my own life. Thank you for putting things into such a clear perspective.
Nothing beats a failure but a try……your dad is a very wise man!

Thank you and God Bless
I saw three huge pink angles in intensive care which appeared to me twice. One closet to me had a beard. The angels all had shoulder length hair. The most beautiful color pink you ever want to see. They seemed to be connected together and were huge. I knew then would be alright no matter what I needed to to endure.
God is Good all the time.
God bless you
My father was a very wise man
He had common sense and wisdom.
I believe some times when things do not happen right away in your life. God has some better waiting for you if you have the patience to endure.
Life is rough but it can always be worse.
Thank you so much for your comments.
Take care
God bless
Yvonne
