Many people will acknowledge Jesus as “a good man” or “a good prophet” but deny His divinity. What’s your take on why they won’t acknowledge that Jesus is the Son of God?

One word that says a lot, street! I’m reminded of 2 Corinthians 4:4.

From what I gather from today’s devotional on 1Cor 15:24-28; 34 & 56, many can only accept JESUS as an earthly being whose in the flesh and as a ‘good man’ or as a ‘good prophet’.
From the resurrection proof of JESUS, appearing to HIS people as a SPIRITUAL MAN before HE was taken up to HEAVEN, HE MUST BE THE SON OF GOD.
ALL AUTHORITIES ON EARTH HAVE TO COME UNDER HIM.
UNTIL THAT DAY COMES, HE WILL HAND HIS AUTHORITY TO GOD THE FATHER-IN-HEAVEN TO RULE.
THIS IS MY UNDERSTANDING AND HOPE IN LIFE.

So true, Angelina. Accepting that Jesus is the Son of God requires faith. I’m so glad you possess that faith, and may many others who come to ODJ community searching for answers find it as well!
