The Psalms confuse me. When I feel hurt, I get comfort from the prayers wishing ill for enemies, but then I feel guilty knowing we are supposed to love our enemies and to continue to want what is good for them.
Likewise, God says to “be holy, for I am holy.” However, Ecclesiastes says to not be “overly righteous,” why kill yourself?
Hebrews 6:4-6 I do not understand this passage. It sounds like you could lose your salvation though I do not believe that. I think other passages point to once saved always saved so this passage has always confused me!
