The Bible says to live on earth as you would in heaven. Since the new earth and heaven are to be beyond what we can understand right now, it makes it anybodies guess as to how it will actually be. But from what we can take from what we read in the Bible, I try to imagine the beautiful heaven but know it’s probably going to be a whole lot different than I would dream up. Revelations gives us an idea of what is believed to be what heaven looks like, but know one can actually confirm that. In my wildest dreams I can’t imagine a perfect world and heaven, but it’s there.
mizroby summed it up exactly the way I would. I don’t think any of us have the capacity to be able to imagine what a perfect existence would be like. Since I have never read anywhere in the Bible a detailed account of the new Heaven and earth, I can only surmise that we will all be in paradise.
jessie1, as Jesus said to the man on the cross, it will be paradise. Check out this glimpse of heaven from the apostle John for a taste of what we’ll experience: Revelation 21:1-22:5.
Thank you Tom. I never read those passages before. It shows that even at 53, I still have so much to learn about things Biblical. I know that I have always hoped since childhood that nature will play a part in my Heaven experience. It is one of the rare things on this earth that come close to perfection. I never thought God would give us the “nature” experience on earth, then deny it to us in our eternal lives.

How do you view the new heaven and earth to come?
