As a 8th grade Algebra teacher, I try to be as positive and as resourceful to my students as possible. In the classroom setting, being God-like means being respectful, honest, fair, kind, motivating, etc etc. From a legal point of you, I can’t stand/sit and preach to them in the classroom, but I can greet them with a God bless you and see them off with a God bless you too. If I am able to put a smile or get a “God bless you too” back from at least one child, I like to think to myself that all I do for them is working. Aside from that, getting on here or reading the different devotionals and blogs on the RBC Ministries web-page help me re-energize and keep close to God. Time to get back to the kiddos. God bless!!!
Being thankful for all the little blessings that come our way… like being able to walk by the lake, enjoying the fresh air and the night skyline of the city, the beautiful cup of coffee which just (thankfully!) woke me up and got me focused again, a message from that lovely someone… You just realise these are all blessings from God and you remain thankful and reliant on Him to look after you even in the most troublesome times…
