I struggle to consistent in one set time of prayer, but what I strive to do is maintain an ongoing intimate conversation with God all day. The classic work by Brother Lawrence, ‘The Practice of the Presence of God” has been an inspiration for me. By maintaining my awareness of God more and more, my spontaneous worship and times of praying about worries or for others happen naturally.
I make time for God first thing in the morning, and at lunch time, however since I know He is always with me, I talk to him through out the day. I keep a journal of God’s blessing and my prayer requests. I especially communicat with him in meditaion, when I quiet my find for Him and Him only. I haven’t been able to find a church that feed my spiritual needs but I am searching. I am also looking forward to the Lord’s return. Not a day goes by that I don’t need him. I need his council and wisdom, his grace and mersy , but most of all His unconditional LOVE! God is love, and I believe the more we make time for Him the nore we want to know.
