Matthew 6:9-15, The Lord’s Prayer is my favorite Bible verses that i have been committed to memory. I think i started saying this prayer when i first became a christian and it has stayed with me since.
The Lord’s Prayer has actually prevented evil spirits from getting into my body. It was a frightening experience but it had strengthened my belief in God that He is real and will protect me when i call out to Him. It was very much a spiritual attack and if i wasn’t a christian i believe that i would be possessed.
I believe the scriptures in the Bible are there to help us in all aspect of our lives. From my experience, i can see the power in God’s Word. Hallelujah praise our God.
From that day on, this prayer is always prayed every night before i go off to sleep. In this way i make sure that i will always remember it. In order that it does not become like a recorder, i make sure that when i say this prayer, i will also remember the things i am thankful for and to forgive during the day. Amen
