The Bible says: “If you scorn wisdom, you will be the one to suffer” (Proverbs 9:12). How have you suffered when you’ve scorned wisdom? How have you seen someone else suffer?

Wisdom is our light in the wilderness world.
For one that ignore or scorn the wisdom indeed will be lost in the darkness.
It’s really suffering to lost in the darkness, don’t know the way to go through, walk without direction.

My husband is trying to scorn Gods wisdom and as we speak he is fighting it. He does not realize My God is Great. He is lost in the wilderness. He refuses to gain knowledge. Let me refrase that, he is finding his way very slowly. God is dealing with him.
I so love this scripture, it is helping me to learn daily.

Tom – You have chosen a question that really makes us think or else everyone is on vacation. Daily I make choices that I suffer for such as eating a food that doesn’t agree with me, choosing to spend time on the internet when I could be spending time with family or reading my Bible, procrastinating on getting a job done, buying something that I don’t need but that I want. I really suffered when, several years ago, I decided I could drink alcohol again which led to choosing to smoke again – bad choices. However God has chosen to deliver me from these choices and I am praising Him today for His everlasting and merciful love.
