No matter what happens – God is in control and He loves me. ..
.Why are you in despair, O my soul?
And why have you become disturbed within me? Hope in God, for I shal lyet praise Him. The help of my countenance and my God. Ps. 42:11
Great thought and verse, sbarclay. Yes, having confidence and hope in our sovereign, loving God is a light to carry us through dark valleys and bitter storms of life.
for me it is proverbs 3:5-6 trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; 6 in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. when i was growing up, my father would provide us with what we want and need and we pretty much did not have to worry about much. My father and mother has since past away. If our earthly parents have that much love in them what much more could our Heavenly father give and provide, he sustains us beyond our imagination. Trust in the Lord !!!
To trust him no matter what, that I am never alone, that if I am obedient their are no boundaries for which God will not bless me. His love is real. I learned I have to die in order to live, finally I have to give it all if I want to receive.
God had shown me that when i willingly choose to do His work that i made a commitment to do without monetary reward, He will reward me even more in ways i have never thought it will be possible.
Our God loves us far more than we can imagine. He knows our every need and worry. Keep trusting. Hallelujah.

To love others even when that love is not returned, because I must reflect His love for us.
There was a time when I didn’t love Jesus, but He kept on showing His love for me.
