Christian Fellowship is so very important to me. Even moreso now than I once thought. When you are experiencing drama and trauma in your life the fellowship of other Christians can buoy your spirit and let you know that God indeed will keep his promise and carry you through anything!
In times of plenty Christian fellowship can show the praise and thanks we have for God’s goodness and can help us lift other’s who may be going through tough times.
Christian Fellowship is always good and appropriate….and always important!
Christian fellowship is a time where believers can worship and praise God together and testify of God’s amazing work in their lives. It is the sharing of the great things that God has done for us.This is extremely important to me because as we fellowship we are able to share God’s love and encourage and strengthen one another in the Lord.
Great comments! I’m reminded of a time when a speaker at a camp I was attending took a burning stick from a campfire and placed it outside the fire on the ground. A portion of the stick glowed brightly red in the darkness of the night. Soon, however, it turned dark, smoldered, and eventually lost it’s heat and light. The remaining sticks in the fire continued to burn brightly together. What a vivid picture of what it means for us to draw together and to burn brightly for Jesus. When we go into isolation or pull away from others we risk losing our passion for God and His truth.
I write down all of our praises and prayer requests for our Sunday school class, put them in “newsletter” form and send them out to all of our members. Last week, it was 90% praise for answered prayer. Christian fellowship keeps God’s handi-work front and center…it keeps our focus on our source of strength…and reminds us of how much He loves us.
The great task we have as christians is being a community. When we share our faith and stay in contact with others, we have the opportunity to prove the love of God, patience, strenght, a helping hand, and a moment to hear and satisfy other’s needs. That’s why fellowship is important, to give us the possibility to connect and grow through a community experience.

I don’t think I can know / see life as it truly is (or myself as I truly am) outside of community.
