Having the courage to say i have a problem is the first step. Then becoming aware of the people, places, and things that encourage the addiction is a good place to start. Know that Jesus will remove these character defects is so important. Hope, it heals. We are all on a path that will lead us to him or closer to him. If a person can find a good 12 step program they should attend at least 90 days in a row. That seems strange, but it will save a Life. Having a strong support system in place will be a foundation for learning to live without the addictive agent. Forgiveness of others and self will trulty be the beginning of a better life and end the vicious circle they are in. Having a sponsor to admit our wrongs will allow a healing process that cleanses our soul. We are all Children of God and he truly wants the Best for us all. No matter what we have done, we still have Hope in Him.
