“A thousand times I’ve failed, still Your mercy remains. Should I stumble again, still I’m caught in Your grace.” So goes the lines of one of my favorite songs.
It’s true, God’s grace is like the sand on the earth, the waters clothing the oceans. It is the very grace that is far beyond measure. It drowns us. It’s simply indescribable.
This grace is what I continue to cling to everytime I fail. Everytime I fall short of what is expected of me. It’s the strength when I am weak. The forgiveness when I sin. The victory when it seems I am defeated.
Everyday of my life, I must admit I get sick and tired of these struggles that I am going through. Those daily battles where at times I win, at times I lose. BUT ONE THING IS CERTAIN: My feelings of despair, of being lost, are a complete lie. JESUS ALREADY WON THE VICTORY and so did I as His child. I am a victor already. James 1:12 says I will receive the victor’s crown of life that God had promised to those who would constantly love Him.
I don’t need to feel the way I feel. Sin no more! In Christ I am made righteous. And now I hear: Enough of that son. Move on! Move forward! Press on toward the goal. The inheritance is now prepared. WILL YOU NOT TAKE IT? —submitted by Nivla, Philippines

I can feel the strength of conviction in your words, Nivla. You encourage me that grace is not supposed to leave me content with my life but should inspire me to press on!
