Sunday, April eighth, twenty-twelve—
to others, may be just another day,
but the more on it, the more Christians delve,
the more meaningful is Easter Sunday.
E – nter God’s presence with thanks and praise
A – llow Him to give us His embrace
S – ubmit to God out of love and respect
T – reasure His goodness lest we forget
E – ndure pain and sufferings like Christ
R – eady to take risks and pay the price
S – eek God’s kingdom and His righteousness
U – ntil they are added unto us
N – ever deny Christ as our Savior
D – aily commune with Him in prayer
A – lways the same is Christ, our Brother
Y – esterday, today, and forever
E – aster is about Jesus the Risen Christ
S – ent by God to be our perfect sacrifice
T – hat we may have life to the fullest
E – ven when we feel we are weakest
E – nduring hardships triumphantly
M – aking Christ known and loved globally
E – xalting Him above all we love or know
D – efeating the devil wherever we go
A – ll thanks be to Christ for His salvation
M – aking young and old safe from perdition
E – xtending His grace and mercy to all
N – o matter how often we fail or fall
P – ray to the Lord our God always
R – ejoice in whatever we face
A – bide in God’s love that our joy may be full
I – nspire each other to be wonderful
S – hare His Word with lost souls and the needy
E – cho His greatness to everybody
G – lory be to God in the highest
O – ffer Him our best, never our worst
D – o the Word we read and profess

Thank you for these words, Bernard. This weekend is the commemoration of the center of time, the defining three days in the history of the world. I am glad to remember this with you, on the other side of the world.
