How do you plan to reflect on the true majesty of Jesus’ birth and renew your appreciation for the “Son of Man who came to seek and save those who are lost” (Luke 19:10) this festive season?

I’m actively praying to God and then looking for people He’s choosing to direct my way—that I might tell them the “Prince of Peace.” The Baby in Bethlehem is also the Kings of Kings! May we be ready to share His truth and love with others.

I plan to continue reflecting on Jesus by dying to myself through fasting and praying and getting to know Him for who He is and not what I want or simply hear from others. I plan to ensure that my family focus on His word, kingdon, and spirit above all else and to work on obeying his commands to love Him and my neighbors in Spirit and in Truth.

I plan to reflect on His great love for me by reminding myself to continue to walk in His Spirit. This will be to stay close to His Word daily. Also, to remind myself to be always thankful, and to share what God has done for me and be helpful that others can hear, see and experience God’s love for them.
It is also a time for me to invite friends and neighbours (christians or non) to my church’s Christmas Carol service.
