1) WHO AM I? (IDENTITY)
Declaring that I am a child of the living God, who is saved by His grace, sanctified, satisfied, Holy Spirit filled, more than a conqueror in Jesus Christ the Anointed One, a winner, special, and originally designed, one who is blessed, highly favored and empowered to prosper, anointed and appointed by God to go forth and do His will as I worship Him through psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs.
2) WHERE DID I COME FROM? (ORIGIN)
I come from the very breath of God. I am created in His image and likeness. I am a Spirit, I live in a body and I possess a soul. My Spirit is King, my soul is servant and my body is slave.
3) WHY AM I HERE? (PURPOSE)
I am here to fulfill Gods’ plan on the earth and to also have fellowship with Him and mankind—to worship Him in Spirit and in truth. This is the reason for my existence: “Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age” (Matt. 28:19-20).
4) WHAT CAN I DO? (POTENTIAL)
I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me (Philippians 4:13), as His power and grace rest upon me and enables me to do that which He asked.
5) WHERE AM I GOING? (DESTINY)
How far do I want to go? Only I can take myself there, you can lead a horse to water but you cannot make it drink—the choice is “MINE.” Lead me Lord and I’ll follow—anywhere You open the door. Lord I want You to show me things I’ve never seen before, Lord I want to be Your witness. Take my wrongs and make them right, Daystar shine down on me and let Your love shine through me in the night. —submitted by Jacqui Doyle, US

Love your “unforgettable five,” Jacqui. Thinking about #1, it’s so vital for us to know what our true identity is. Paul wrote, “My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me” (Galatians 2:20). By God’s grace we find our true identity in Jesus!
