Today . . .
Discouragement is no longer my friend,
Fear, no longer my bedmate,
Doubt no longer food for thought,
Worry no longer my heart’s desire.
Instead of giving in, (crumbling from the pressures of Life)
I will stand.
Instead of giving up, (stopping at every obstacle)
I will walk on.
Instead of falling apart, (throwing up my hands)
I will trust.
Instead of looking back, (giving up, going off)
I will run.
Today–
I choose You.
I choose Your way,
I choose Your will,
I choose Your plan,
I choose Your path.
I choose You!
Scripture: “Choose ye this day whom you will serve” (Joshua 24:15).
“And having done all to stand. Stand . . .” (Ephesians 6:13-14).

Aleta: “I choose you” gives me goose bumps. That is a beautiful way to describe the Christian life. Regardless how we feel or whether things are breaking our way, we choose Christ. Thanks for this reminder!
