1 – The love of Christ. How he pressed on into Jerusalem knowing the suffering ahead in that he would be crucified and yet he continued in mercy and grace towards us. Luke 18:31-33; Matthew 26:38-39; Luke23:34
2 – How last year on Palm Sunday I finally gave my life to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ! Praise be to God 🙂
Jamie, thanks for your post. Wow. What an exciting Palm Sunday that must have been for you and those who witnessed you receiving Jesus as your Savior! It’s great to have you in the ODJ community.
This is one of my favorite holy days for Jesus. I love the way he got praise and uplifting encouragement from humankind on earth which we will not see again until his second coming when he comes as a King. It makes me feel happy inside that my Savior could experience the things he deserved. I want to remember him like that forever. Praise God for his indescribable gift! Let us lift Christ up in our hearts and keep him there so we can better serve Him.
Today, alot of thoughts are on my mind on about which roads should I take and are they the right ones.. I know that God is my everyhting and He offers me the strenght to be happy and keeps those surrounded around me at peace, but I can let the “Prince of Peace” side show.. God, your my strength and I thank you for putting in the positions that I am in..Never would have made it with out you..
Palm Sunday reminds me of the fickleness of people. Jesus was welcomed into Jerusalem as the Messiah, but a week later was condemned many of the same people. Praise God that He doesn’t change. Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. Here is a poem I wrote to praise the Holy Trinity.
Praise God the Father, God the Son,
And God the Spirit – Three in One!
Praise to this Holy Trinity
For our salvation full and free.
For God so loved the world that He,
Though wretched sinners we may be,
Sent His dear Son to Calv’ry’s tree
To pay for us sin’s penalty.
God sent His Spirit to this earth
To offer all a second birth,
That comes to those who Christ receive.
And He indwells all who believe.
Is God the Spirit telling you
That your belief in Christ is true?
If not, my friend, then why delay?
Believe on Christ the Lord today!
